During his 30-year military career, Andrew moved frequently, always prioritizing high-quality homes in safe, family-oriented neighborhoods. This lifestyle led him to navigate the housing market repeatedly, alternating between renting and purchasing properties. Whenever he transitioned to a new duty station, he often retained his previous homes as rental investments.

Through three decades of experience as both a tenant and a landlord, Andrew gained a masterclass in property management. He meticulously identified what works—and more importantly, what doesn’t—refining a “winning strategy” into a proven formula for success.

In 2020, he and his wife, Joelle, channeled this expertise into the launch of Straley Enterprises LLC. Today, the firm continues to grow, managing over $2.2 million in assets across Southeast Virginia.
